Agadir is getting ready for a new night dedicated to Morocco’s urban music scene. On August 26, 2026, RUSH 101 will take place at the Théâtre de Verdure in Agadir, bringing together Manal, Najm and BIGKID for a live concert presented by Rush Hour Production. The event is positioned as an immersive urban music experience, combining live performances with lighting and stage design.
At the center of the lineup is Manal, one of Morocco’s most recognizable contemporary pop artists. Born in Casablanca, Manal first gained wider attention after appearing on Star Academy Arabia before developing a career that has seen her move between Moroccan pop, hip-hop and contemporary Arabic sounds. Her catalog includes tracks such as “Niya,” “MAAHBOULA,” “Call Me” and “KALIMAT.”
Manal has also continued to release new music in 2026, with “SATA 9TTALA” arriving in May as part of her latest run of releases.
Joining her is Najm, the young Moroccan rapper who has quickly become one of the names to watch in the country's new generation of hip-hop artists. The 20-year-old artist first broke through with his 2024 track “NDAM!”, before expanding his audience with his SUEÑO MAGNIFICO project and later his U EP.
His collaboration with Manal, “RIRI&ROCKY,” became one of his breakthrough moments, earning millions of streams and helping introduce his sound to a wider regional audience.
The lineup is completed by BIGKID, the Moroccan DJ known for moving between hip-hop, Afrobeats, R&B, Amapiano and other contemporary sounds. Originally from Marrakech and based in Paris, BIGKID has performed at events and festivals in Morocco and internationally, including Les Ardentes in Belgium and Festival Al Alamein in Egypt.
His work also reflects his connection to Morocco's hip-hop culture. In 2026, BIGKID released The Sounds Of Casablanca, a DJ mix bringing together music from artists including Dizzy DROS, Shayfeen, Shobee, ElGrandeToto, 7Liwa, Stormy and Loun. He described the project as a musical journey through the identity of Casablanca's hip-hop scene.
Together, the three artists represent different sides of Morocco's current urban music landscape, from Manal's pop-driven sound and Najm's new-generation rap to BIGKID's DJ sets and genre-blending approach.
