The FIFA World Cup is coming to Morocco in a new way. On June 13, Rabat Live Arena will officially open its doors at the Complexe Moulay El Hassan, introducing what organizers describe as the country's first stadium-based fan zone. Designed to combine football, music, entertainment, and live experiences, the venue aims to turn every Morocco match into a full-scale cultural event. The opening night is set to coincide with one of the most anticipated fixtures of the tournament, Morocco versus Brazil, promising an atmosphere that goes far beyond a traditional public screening.
More than just a place to watch football, Rabat Live Arena is positioning itself as a large-scale entertainment destination for fans throughout the World Cup.
The concept combines live match broadcasts on giant LED screens with immersive sound systems, synchronized lighting, multi-camera production, and stadium-style visual effects. Organizers promise an experience designed to recreate the intensity and emotion of being inside the stadium itself.
Before kickoff, during halftime, and after the final whistle, spectators will also be treated to a variety of live performances, concerts, and surprise appearances, transforming each matchday into a complete entertainment experience.
For its inaugural event on June 13, Rabat Live Arena has assembled a program that blends sport and culture. Moroccan rap star Dizzy Dros will headline the evening with a live concert, bringing one of the country's most influential artists to the stage ahead of the Morocco-Brazil showdown.
The event will also feature an international Panna football battle between Morocco's Mehdi Amri and Brazil's Isaac Xavier. The matchup brings together two of the discipline's biggest names, whose combined audiences exceed 35 million followers worldwide, adding another layer of competition to a night already fueled by national pride.
Organizers say additional major artists and special guests will be announced in the coming weeks as the arena prepares to host future World Cup matches.
Beyond the entertainment, the project represents a significant milestone for Rabat's event landscape. By transforming the Complexe Moulay El Hassan into a large-scale fan experience, the initiative seeks to position the capital among the region's leading destinations for live sports and entertainment.
With tickets starting at 100 DH, Rabat Live Arena is aiming to remain accessible to families and football fans while delivering a production usually associated with major international events.
As Morocco prepares for another World Cup adventure, Rabat Live Arena wants to offer supporters more than a match screening. It wants to create a place where football, music, culture, and national pride come together under one roof.
And for its opening night against Brazil, the stage is already set for one of the most memorable fan experiences of the summer.
